Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their colour preferences, hair goals, and lifestyle needs
- Perform a full range of professional hair colouring services including permanent, semi-permanent, balayage, ombre, highlights, root touch-ups, colour correction, and toning
- Assess hair conditions and recommend suitable treatments to maintain hair health
- Stay up to date with the latest colour trends, techniques, and product knowledge
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic work environment
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a personalised and welcoming salon experience
- Work collaboratively with other stylists and salon staff to support day-to-day operations
- Recommend retail hair care products suitable for maintaining colour and hair health at home
Skills & Requirements
- Certificate III in Hairdressing (or equivalent qualification)
- Minimum 2 years of salon experience in hair coloring services preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of color theory, mixing, and application techniques
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced salon environment
- Passion for hair, beauty, and keeping up with industry trends
- A positive, friendly, and professional attitude
